Guidance

Welcome to WMS Guidance

The vision of the Wickford Middle School counseling program is that all students will be successful in their post-secondary pursuits and will be productive life-long learners and contributors to their community. They will be equipped with the skills, strategies, and knowledge necessary to achieve individual excellence in an ever changing world.

The mission of the Wickford Middle School counseling program is to engage all students in a comprehensive counseling program, which will provide them with the skills and tools necessary to be successful in school and beyond. The counseling program will address the academic and career goals of our students as well as their social-emotional needs to support them in reaching their fullest potential. We will help our students make healthy choices, acquire a sense of civic responsibility, and build resiliency. Together, we support access and equity for all learners, embrace diversity, and inspire all to become contributing members of a global society.
