HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Forest Park Community,
This afternoon, we will hold our Forest Park Town Hall Assembly! Each month, this special
event recognizes students who model our school expectations and demonstrate hard work in the
classroom. We encourage you to ask your child about today’s assembly and what they enjoyed
most about the celebration.
Please also take a few minutes to review the flyers included in this week’s newsletter. Our PTO
has a fundraiser planned for Monday at Back 40 Restaurant. Just before our holiday recess,
students greatly enjoyed the program by Manny Nogueira, a former professional BMX rider.
Programs like this - and many other activities throughout the school year - are made possible
through the support of our PTO. If you are able to participate in the fundraiser, our students truly
appreciate it. You may also consider volunteering at one of our events; our next PTO meeting is
scheduled for Wednesday evening.
Finally, congratulations to our grade four and five school-based spelling bee winners and
alternates: William Poey, Tray Perry, Ben Cooney, Ben Hodges, and John Matarese. Best of luck
at the 2026 NK District Spelling Bee on Monday at 6:00 PM in the NKHS Auditorium.
