Starting Monday, October 5, NKSD will follow the RI Department of Health (RIDOH) recommendation that only standard facemasks will be allowable in schools. This means that alternative face coverings such as gaiters, bandanas, and facemasks with valves will no longer be permissible in school or on NKSD busses.
On September 29, The North Kingstown School Committee updated district policy on Facemasks. In conjunction with that policy, starting Monday, October 5, NKSD will follow the RI Department of Health (RIDOH) recommendation that only standard facemasks will be allowable in schools.
